Artist Albert CHUNG is a self taught contemporary artist whose practice explores the relationship between color, light, spirituality, and inner peace through the language of Chinese ink paintings. Rooted in Hong Kong’s unique convergence of Eastern and Western cultures, CHUNG creates contemplative works that transform traditional ink , color pigments, calligraphy brushes, and Xuan Paper into immersive fields of luminous energy.

 

A significant aspect of his practice is the exploration of light as a metaphor for guidance and transformation. This is particularly evident in his ongoing Lighthouse series, where minimal forms emerge from expansive colour fields as symbols of orientation, refuge, and spiritual awakening.

「光」是他創作中的重要主題，象徵指引、希望與轉化。這個概念在他持續創作的《燈塔》系列（Lighthouse）中尤其明顯。作品以簡潔的燈塔形象置於廣闊的色彩空間之中，象徵方向、庇護，以及精神上的覺醒。
