The places that deeply impressed him included: Seychelles, Fiji Islands, St. Helena, Mauritius, Malta, West Indies, Mombasa, Venice, America, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and the UK, etc. The life on board allowed him to witness the ocean in the middle of the night with total darkness. During his five-and-a-half years of service, he has gained deep affection for the ocean which inspired his art!
