CHIU YEE TING ELAINE 趙綺婷

CHIU YEE TING ELAINE 趙綺婷

Born and raised in Hong Kong, Elaine Chiu is currently studying a bachelor degree in Fine Arts at the University of Hong Kong. As a post-90s, her works reflect how fast-pace urbanisation affects the Hong Kong society and people through landscapes and cityscapes. Merging marker pen and watercolour as her major media, her works portray the reality in her own perspective.

The major media in Elaine’s works are marker pen and watercolour. Art creation for her is very personal and free, where her inspirations are mostly from personal emotions and experiences. By combining observation and sensations, the intertwined relationship between the rational and emotional sides of the artist can be portrayed in the paintings.
